Discussion Questions for home during our Summer Series

Orange is a color that is actually the combination of two colors, red and yellow. Red and yellow are great, don't get me wrong, but combining red and yellow makes a color, orange, that is more vibrant, interesting, and alive than either of the two colors by themselves.

Orange Families is a dream to see parents and the church as powerful partners leading students in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. As the church partners with parents something amazing can happen. Too often the church doesn't engage or resource parents to be the primary leaders in the development of their children's faith. Too often parents drop their children off at church expecting the church to fix them. But what if the church and parents came together with a common vision and strategy to lead the next generation into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ? It could change the world and eternity forever one family at a time!

We don't have this all figured out yet but we do know that we are committed to growing in the orange partnership between the church and the family. Some ways we are going orange is with our weekly discussion questions for you and your students. Sometimes its hard to know what questions to ask your student about God, life, faith, challenges, Jesus, etc. so we created some for you based on what we are teaching at Equip on Sunday mornings.

We are currently working on creating some more ways to go orange in the fall when we hope to launch parent small groups specific to parents of adolescents desiring to raise godly kids in an ungodly world.
